It predominantly causes significant infections in immunocompromised individuals, of which 80-90% occur in people with human immunodeficiency virus(HIV) infection. Disseminated disease, especially cryptococcal abscess is exceedingly rare. We report a case of disseminated cryptococcosis with abscess in a tuberculosis patient. A case of Cryptococcus neoformans and Mycobacterium tuberculosis (pulmonary) coinfection in an otherwise healthy young man is reported.
