In pre-monsoon period pH range increases which affects the other physico-chemical parameters like BOD, DO etc. and also the biomass. During monsoon, rain water again changes the water quality. In this review article the various physico-chemical parameters such as temperature, transparency, conductivity, TDS, pH, total alkalinity, calcium, nitrate, BOD, DO, turbidity etc. fluctuate on seasonal bases. The quality of river water is not good and it should not used for drinking purpose without treatment and at some places the quality of water is also not able to use for various domestic purposes without treatment.
