Two real lifetime examples from Lio et al. (2010) are selected to explain the procedure when the shape parameters of the Burr type XII distribution are unknown in practice. The two points approach on operating characteristics (OC) curve is used to construct the tables for industry use. Examples are given to illustrate the repetitive group sampling plans.
