They are almost found in all the section of the global ecosystem. They can persistent in the environment and with stand for a long period of time and considered to be accumulated in the food web. This review paper describes about the different sources of emission of this organic compound from the environment. Various remediation methods for the reduction of PCDD/PCDF from the environment were also discussed in this paper.&#13;
